A Message from Lincoln Cole
Raven's Peak was a book I had planned to write for a very long time before finally settling down and putting it together. I actually had the idea of the town and title of the book a long time before Abigail or Haatim existed, and then the story came together around it.
Once I finished the first book, I went into the second and third book and really wanted to do something different. Each book offers something completely different, and together they tell the story of Abigail Dressler and the person she is to become.
About Raven's Peak
A quiet little mountain town is hiding a big problem. When the townsfolk of Raven's Peak start acting crazy, Abigail Dressler is called upon to discover the root of the evil affecting people. She uncovers a demonic threat unlike any she's ever faced and finds herself in a fight just to stay alive.
Abigail rescues Haatim Arison from a terrifying fate and discovers that he has a family legacy in the supernatural that he knows nothing about. Now she's forced to protect him, which is easy, but also to trust him if she wants to save the townsfolk of Raven's Peak. Trust, however, is something hard to have for someone who grew up living on the knife's edge of danger.
Can they discover the cause of the town's insanity and put a stop to it before it is too late?
An Interview with Haatim Arison by Lincoln Cole
Q- Where would you most like to live?
A- I think I would want to live in Arizona once again. It embodies what I would consider the best parts of my life, before the death of my sister and everything went crazy. Don't get me wrong, if I have to pick between not knowing about this world and what my life is today, I would pick knowing. But, I just miss the innocence of those years.
Q- What do you most value in your friends?
A- Honesty and a willingness to learn from mistakes. I've made quite a few mistakes in my life, and I would hate to keep making the same ones over and over again. I expect nothing less of my friends.
Q- How would you like to die?
A- I would rather not die! If I had to die though...
No, I'll stick with my first answer. I don't want to die, but if I'm going to die then at least I don't want to know about it.
Q- What is the trait you most deplore in yourself?
A- I think I'm too trusting sometimes, but I guess that isn't really a trait I deplore. I like the fact that I'm able to trust, and I'm afraid of losing it, but I know it can get me into trouble.
I also dislike my hair, but there's not really a lot I can do about that.
Q- On what occasion do you lie?
A- Only when I'm trying to make someone else feel better. I know it's wrong, but I just can't help it sometimes. Just little white lies, you know. Nothing too intense or anything that might actually get someone hurt.
At least, that's what I tell myself.
Q- What do you most value in your friends?
A- Honesty, because if a relationship is built upon lies it cannot stand.
Just Who is Haatim Arison?
Haatim is the hapless bystander who gets pulled into a seedy world he doesn't understand and is called upon to very quickly learn the ropes in order to survive. He becomes friends with Abigail and Dominick and wants to do good and help people.
